Step-by-step guide: How to install CEJN TLX on hydraulic attachments

Step-by-step guide: How to install CEJN TLX on hydraulic attachments

In heavy-duty applications, the failure of quick-connect couplings often comes from high surge flows. These surges can lead to seal failures and machine damage, resulting in costly leakages and machine downtime. CEJN TLX is a super-duty coupling solution specifically designed to withstand the highest surge flows and toughest pressure impulses. In this guide, you can follow the steps of how to install CEJN TLX on hydraulic attachments.

Installing CEJN TLX is an easy job. Watch the instruction video or follow the step-by-step guide underneath on how to safely install the TLX. These tools are required: Wrench according to TLX connection size and a pair of pliers.

  1. Check the required oil flow on the hydraulic attachment you are about to install CEJN TLX on.

2. Use the CEJN flow chart to find out which coupling size you need.

3. Collect your chosen size as well as matching dust caps to avoid contamination.

4. Assemble the correct adapter on the TLX.

5. Connect the TLX and tighten according to thread standards.

6. Fit the locking pin wire in the desired position.

7. Make sure that the arrows are in line with each other.

8. Insert the locking pin.

9. Repeat the same procedure with the dust caps.

10. Repeat on the second hose line.

11. Repeat the same steps on the machine.

12. Remove the dust cap and connect the attachment to the machine.

13. Important to connect dust caps when the couplings are connected to avoid contamination.

14. Repeat on the other side.
