Universal Quick Disconnects (UQD) – open standard couplings now available in two sizes
CEJN now has two sizes of the UQD universal quick disconnects available. It is a reliable and easy-to-use quick coupling for liquid cooling in data centers developed upon an initiative by Intel as an open standard within the OCP (Open Compute Project).
The OCP is a collaborative community of engineers and data center professionals who work to create more efficient and sustainable data center solutions. Energy efficiency and sustainable hardware solutions are two main objectives within the OCP that will help minimize the environmental impact of the data center industry.
OCP is focused on promoting open standards and collaboration within the industry. By sharing knowledge and resources, OCP is helping to accelerate the development of more efficient and sustainable solutions. These goals align well with CEJN’s ambitions, and we are proud to be a member of the OCP community and an active part of several OCP projects.
UQD is a quick coupling standard developed within OCP upon an initiative by Intel. CEJN now has two sizes available following the UQD specifications: UQD-02 and UQD-04.
As an open standard, any couplings manufactured following the specifications of the UQD standard are connectable. With CEJN high precision manufacturing and long experience in high-quality quick couplings for a wide range of applications, our range of UQD couplings is guaranteed to meet and exceed the standard specifications.
Extending the product range of quick connect coupling solutions for the data center industry
CEJN extends the product range with three new quick connect coupling solutions for data center applications. All three are developed as part of the Open Compute Project (OCP) initiative, with CEJN contributing as one of the main developers alongside industry leaders and chassis- and manifold...
