The Large Quick Connector (LQC) for data center applications is developed within the OCP (Open Compute Project) initiative, an initiative that has established a new global standard within the data center industry community for quick connect couplings. Screw-to-connect locking mechanism, effortless connection even under working pressure up to 5 bar, double redundant O-ring seal for extra leak prevention are just some of the features that makes this coupling solution ideal for Data Center Coolant Distribution Units (CDUs).

Interchangeable coupling solution for data center CDU connections

The OCP LQC is an interchangeable coupling solution specially designed for Coolant Distribution Units (CDU), developed within the OCP initiative. As most CDUs require users to connect and disconnect their quick connect couplings during operation, the screw-to-connect operation of OCP LQC provides better usability than the push-to-connect type quick connect couplings as this can be done while being under working pressure up to 5 bar.

As an open standard, any manufacturer’s products are connectable by following the specifications of the LQC standard.
