BLX couplings
Heavy duty
BLX is a safe and efficient quick coupling for hydraulic systems where speed and operational reliability are key. Thanks to its bayonet locking mechanism, BLX connects quickly and easily, while providing a stable and vibration-proof connection even at high pressures. The steel construction with a zinc-nickel surface treatment resists dirt, wear and corrosion. BLX is ideal for demanding hydraulic applications such as mobile machinery in construction, demolition and agriculture.

Effortless, heavy-duty hydraulic connections
No more slow and cumbersome tool changes. The BLX’s one-hand bayonet connection lets you connect and disconnect hydraulic lines quickly and effortlessly — without compromising performance. Based on the proven TLX coupling, BLX is designed and tested to handle high surge flows and pressure impulses, ensuring reliable operation in even the most demanding hydraulic applications. BLX outperforms conventional screw couplings in every way: faster, stronger, and more reliable.
BLX is ideally suited for hydraulic attachments in demanding construction, recycling, demolition, and deconstruction work, including:
- Hydraulic shears
- Hydraulic breakers
- Hydraulic hammers
- Compactors and crushers
- Other specialized hydraulic attachments
CEJN BLX will be available from January 2026.
Why BLX?
-
One-hand operation
Connect and disconnect quickly and effortlessly — no tools required.
-
Minimized downtime
Faster to connect means more time in operation and less time lost to tool changes.
-
Reduced fuel consumption
Optimized flow reduces pressure drop and energy loss, saving fuel over time.
-
High resilience to surge flows and pressure impulses
The BLX is designed and tested to withstand the toughest hydraulic conditions.
-
Compact design
High flow capacity in a smaller coupling allows for reduced size and weight, without compromising performance — saving space on your equipment and lowering the overall machine weight.
-
Sustainable solution
The BLX is designed to be long-lasting and with responsibility for the environment: spill-free operation, lead-free, and a wide selection of spare parts for easy maintenance to further enhance the coupling lifespan.
Low pressure drop for higher efficiency and profitability
The BLX offers exceptional flow performance at low pressure drops, delivering high flow in a compact size. This means you can downsize your hydraulic system without sacrificing flow capacity — saving space, reducing weight, and cutting fuel consumption.
Less pressure loss reduces internal resistance in the coupling, resulting in less energy being converted into heat as the oil passes through. Lower heat inside the coupling reduces thermal stress on the body and seals. This reduces wear, extends component life, and ensures consistent performance in demanding applications.
A low pressure drop also enhances safety by reducing the risk of bursts or leaks caused by excessive pressure build-up. BLX delivers more power with less energy, delivering reliable, efficient, and cost-effective hydraulic performance.
BLX bayonet lock vs traditional screw couplings
The BLX features a robust bayonet lock with a foldable lever for quick, one-hand operation, even under residual pressure. It provides secure connection and disconnection and can be extended with a pipe for extra leverage when residual pressure is high. When connected, the lever folds neatly into the coupling, becoming a compact unit.
While screw-to-connect couplings are traditionally valued for rigid connections, the BLX’s bayonet lock design has demonstrated equal performance in extensive impulse testing with heavy side loads.
With its foldable lever and bayonet mechanism, BLX delivers faster handling, high strength, and proven reliability in demanding hydraulic applications.
Products for heavy duty applications
Each time a coupling breaks results in a costly standstill and endless frustration for the operator. Machines within construction and demolition require components and equipment that can stand up to the heavy pressure impulses and high surge flows. Quality products save a lot of that money and frustration. CEJN products like the TLX flat-face couplings, ADX auto-dock couplings and the Multi-X multi-couplings set the bar for quality and performance within heavy duty hydraulic applications.
