Being a manufacturer of high pressure hydraulic components entail responsibility. This is why CEJN presents a new upgraded range of ultra high-pressure quick connect couplings – The Next Generation. The term “The Next Generation” comprises a process of development that has an extensive history and future. Over the years, the demand for smaller and lighter tools has increased, and these tools needs higher pressure to generate the required power. Extreme pressure demands a high level of safety as a leak or accidental disconnection could cause serious personal injury or damage to machinery. CEJN has been in the ultra high-pressure business for 50 years, and our area of expertise is minimizing the risks while increasing the pressure.
CEJN Metal Seal (CMS)
CEJN Metal Seal is the optimum and recommended sealing method developed to be a safe and reliable seal even at extremely high pressures. Due to the smaller diameter and position of CMS, stress is kept to a minimum. In the unlikely event of leakage, the oil pressure will be dispersed within the coupling without any danger to the operator.
Quality Assured Locking Balls
At the core of a coupling, you’ll find a set of tiny steel balls, carrying a load of approximately 300 kg each. CEJN has a deep expertise around exact hardening processes, the right calculations and possesses an advanced laboratory where the necessary tests are conducted. The locking balls have a critical function and are therefore subject to a comprehensive quality assurance program.
Alert Ring for Safe Connection
Since 2014 CEJN ultra high-pressure quick connect couplings have an “Alert ring” installed on the front part that clearly indicates if the connection is safe. If the red ring is still visible, the connection is not complete and when pressurizing the system, the nipple may suddenly shoot out of the coupling under pressure.
CEJN Identification System (CiS)
CiS is a tracking solution in which every hose kit is chipped and has an individual marking and traceability based on Near Field Communication technology. This means that you can check the technical data for the hose kit and can also view an updated history log: when the hose kit was first and most recently pressure-tested and when it is time to take it out of service.
CEJN High-Pressure Centre
The CEJN High-Pressure Centres are located around the world for closer proximity to our markets and are all staffed by certified application experts. Each centre features a hose-crimping facility that assembles high-pressure hose kits to customer specifications. Every set is checked and measured before delivery for safety and performance to eliminate any risk of failure.
