Original state of bolt and nut before stretching

The bolt tensioning tool is assembled onto the bolt to be tightened. The hydraulic coupling/hose is attached

Hydraulic pressure is applied to the tensioner from a tensioning pump.

Bolt tensioning. The nut is wound down against the joint force.
