2009

Wind power is an interesting area for CEJN, not only because our high pressure products are used during assembly and maintenance work of the great wind turbines. We also use wind powered electricity to run our production machines, computers, lighting and ventilation.

CEJN AB is the headquarter of the global CEJN Group. The headquarter, located in Skövde – Sweden, and our production sites located in Lönsboda and Borås use approximately 5,900 MWh/year, which is equivalent to the energy consumption of what 300 households use in this climate zone (Southern Sweden).

One of our environmental goals for 2008, was to reduce our use of non-renewable energy such as oil, coal and nuclear power. We wanted to focus on renewable energy such as water and wind power in order to help reducing global warming. CEJN AB reached that goal during 2008 by switching our entire source of electrical energy to wind power.

The production and sales rights of the Drain Twin and Drain One, product accessories and spare parts have as of March 1st 2009, been taken over by Sykes-Pickavant Ltd.

The Drain Twin and Drain One have been appreciated CEJN-products among car technicians but will no longer be part of the CEJN product portfolio due to a change in product focus.

CEJN wishes Sykes-Pickavant LTD all future success with Drain Twin and Drain One.

CEJN will in co-operation with LeekSeek Sweden, Festo, Kaeser, Bureau Veritas, and the
Swedish Environmental Protection Agency arrange a compressed air seminar in Gothenburg
3rd to 4th of June. The seminar will focus on the savings potential in compressed air
systems and its impact on the environment.

Compressed air is an area that has great saving potential where several investigations
show that it is possible to reduce the air consumption with 30-50%. This would in turn
benefit our environment by reducing the CO2-emissions.

Please join us in Gothenburg and get the tools and information you need to start cost and
energy saving measures virtually immediately.

CEJN Pneumatic Couplings

CEJN has expanded its product range with several new hydraulic series and have thereby become one of the strongest suppliers of quick connect components on the market. The new products are launched in April and will be available through CEJN’s sales channels worldwide.

The global quick connect specialist CEJN, has since 1955 developed, manufactured and marketed quick connect couplings and accessories within the fields of hydraulics, pneumatics, fluids and gas. CEJN’s products are sold by our own sales companies and authorized distributors around the world.

CEJN’s hydraulic range has expanded from featuring CEJN original classic couplings and Nordic standards to also include quick connect series compatible with a number of ISO Standards. Several of the new products meet the demands of the ISO 16028 Standard and are available in many versions and sizes, including couplings in steel and stainless steel with a working pressure up to 500 bar. ISO 7241-1 A Standard couplings in different sizes are offered in steel and ISO 7241-1 B Standard couplings in several sizes are available in both steel and stainless steel.

Some series also feature a pressure eliminator that solves problems with residual pressure on the nipple side. And to further enhance the hydraulic quick connect range are Flat-Face designed screw-to-connect couplings and two different pressure monitoring systems included.

CEJN’s hydraulic range is suitable for a wide variety of applications and environments such as mobile and industrial equipment as well as the offshore, chemical, paper/pulp and food industries.
