During the 16th and 19th of January, CEJN had the pleasure to participate in the Auto-Trade Fair in Gothenburg, Sweden. We exhibited our Pneumatic range, including our hose reels and blowguns and had the opportunity to display the CEJN-branded DX for the first time to the market.

The many benefits, features and functions of the DX were demonstrated and received great feedback from representatives of both major distributor chains as well as end-users.

CEJN Australia Pty Limited officially opened its doors for business on January 7th, 2008.
After many years as a representative office of the CEJN Singapore Company, the business in Australia has developed to a stage where CEJN Australia needs to be a stand-alone company to service our customers’ needs.

An office and warehouse facility has been established in the Seven Hills area, west of Sydney. With these new operations CEJN Australia has the opportunity to better serve our existing customer base with on location service and quick deliveries.

CEJN Australia will also have a hose assembly production area for our High Pressure Hydraulic hoses and hoses for the water-jetting market. The High Pressure market is a key business area for CEJN Australia and we see great potential for our hose assemblies, especially when considering the mining boom areas of Western Australia.
Michael Moloney, managing director of CEJN Australia, and his staff look forward to this exciting period for Australian and New Zealand markets. For more information or inquiries, please contact CEJN Australia at sales@cejn.com.au.

To enable a continued strong market approach we are now integrating the Vacula product range under the CEJN brand name. By focusing on our core brand we will be able to increase our customer reactiveness and provide all our customers, both CEJN and Vacula, with a more focused product range and a better product and market support.

During the coming months the Vacula brand name will be gradually phased out and replaced by the CEJN brand on products, packaging and in our business and market communication. From July 1st the CEJN brand will be the only brand used.

The Vacula product range will be converted to a product area named Tools & Equipment under the CEJN brand. In combination with this change we will also introduce a more streamlined product range focused on fluid handling. The new innovative DX fluid handling platform will make up the base of the new product range and be the building block for future product developments.

The following products in the current Vacula range will be replaced by the new DX products; DrainMan, Classic, DeLuxe, MultiVac and Fluid Evacuator. The DX’s innovative technology and design combines features from all previous fluid handling products making it more than suitable to replace the old range of products. Vacula EasyCheck, Coolant Refiller and Valve Core Torque Tool will be phased out from the range completely with no replacement products. DrainOne and DrainTwin will be deleted from the range, but CEJN will continue to provide spare parts, accessories and service to support our customers. The Vacula RustEater will remain in the range under the name CEJN RustEater.

CEJN USA has purchased virtually all assets of E.A.R.S North America and some tools from Strategic Tools & Equipment Company. With this deal CEJN USA owns the marketing rights to the E.A.R.S. technology and the business related assets of E.A.R.S North America in the U.S., Canadian, and Latin American markets.

A new E.A.R.S.-division has been created within the CEJN organization, which is headed by Cliff Kneisly, formerly with E.A.R.S North America. All inventory has been moved into the warehouse of CEJN USA in Gurnee, Illinois and the products will be available from selected authorized CEJN distributors.

CEJN introduces an updated version of its renowned Series 208 Blowgun suitable for both air and fluid applications. The new version has an updated valve package that enables the blowgun to handle non-explosive fluids without compromising on design or quality.

CEJN Blowguns' highly valued features include:
•  Versatile usages – handles both air and fluid applications
•  High blowing force – Generates much higher blowing force than comparable
•  Lightweight design – Makes the blowgun easy to use and control
•  Ergonomic and versatile styling – Offers comfortable handling and a “perfect
fit” for both left- and right-handed users
•  Flexible hanging options – Provide convenient storage and quick retrieval
•  User friendly – Results from an acetalplastic handle that is comfortable to grip
and shields against cold air flow

CEJN Series 208 Blowguns are available with a wide range of nozzles, tubes, and other accessories. CEJN’s range of blowguns and blowgun accessories bring quality and performance to the workplace.

CEJN is introducing a new Series of WEO Plug-In fittings. The Series features a new surface treatment of zinc plating with a Cr3 based passivation. And the Series' design is more compact due to elbows with shorter drop length.

The most significant change that sets this Series apart from the others is the hose barb with a more “tube friendly” design, suitable for wire braid as well as multi spiral hose. This new design features micro and macro grooves to create a more gentle and improved sealing between the hose and fitting in order to extend the life-time of the hose assembly.

During the fall of 2008, CEJN is participating in the following exhibitions and trade fairs around the world. At the exhibitions and trade fairs, our wide product range will be presented and our problem solving know-how will be offered.
