CEJN will exhibit at the Hanover Exhibition in April. You will find us in hall 20 stand C03.

CEJN’s popular Series 410 couplings for compressed air applications are now available in a vented safety style. Series 410 safety couplings meet customer requests for a coupling that is exceptionally safe and efficient and offer full automatic operation for easy handling.

Series 410 safety couplings meet customer requests for a coupling that is exceptionally safe and efficient and offer full automatic operation for easy handling.

The new couplings disconnect in two stages in order to vent the coupling slowly and safely, minimizing the risk of sudden component separation—which has the potential to cause operator injury. When the coupling and nipple are pulled away from each other, the components remain latched for a few seconds. Once the air pressure has dropped, the coupling and nipple disconnect automatically at a low noise level.

Series 410 safety couplings offer an extremely high flow rate of 3,700 l/min. Their strength, durability, and low connection force requirement also add to their widespread appeal. The couplings are ideal for larger, advanced pneumatic tools used in truck, aircraft, construction, and agricultural equipment manufacturing and maintenance; mining; foundries; nuclear power stations; and offshore oil applications.

The vented safety version of Series 410 couplings complies with ISO Standard 4414 and EN 983 and features an all-steel front part as standard. They are now available globally in numerous sizes and configurations.

With the launch of the safety version of Series 410 couplings, CEJN now offers one of the widest ranges of compressed air couplings available with automatic pressure relief.

CEJN Do Brasil Ltda., is located in Curitiba, Paraná, in Southern Brazil.

The operation is under the direction of Waldomiro Braiti Jr., general manager Important.

A stronger presence in Brazil is an important move for CEJN, Braiti said. “CEJN has served the Brazilian market for the past three years pri-marily through two distributors that are supplied by CEJN Ibérica,” Braiti said. “CEJN pneumatic products and medium- and high-pressure hydraulic hose and couplings are growing in popularity throughout Brazil, and our new operation will enable us to provide these products faster and service the needs of customers better than ever before.“As we form partnerships with additional commercial representatives and distributorships through-out Brazil, we are emphasizing the importance of the Brazilian market to CEJN and our commitment to meeting its fluid-system requirements.”

Braiti’s fluid-system background makes him a good fit for CEJN Brazil’s head-post role. He comes to CEJN from Parker Hannifin’s Hydraulics Division in Brazil, where he served as general manager. Before that he was an entrepreneur for two companies in Brazil, including a joint venture with ITR SAIAG. He holds a degree in business administration and resides in Curitiba.
