CEJN Hosts 9th Annual Golf Tournament

Forty-five CEJN customers and employees from Finland, Norway, and Sweden made CEJN’s 9th Annual Golf Tournament a memorable event.

CEJN’s 9th Annual Golf Tournament was a repeat performance to last year’s event in terms of weather conditions and enthusiasm. The rainy day didn’t spoil the fun and camaraderie of the 45 CEJN customers and employees from Finland, Norway, and Sweden who took part in the outing at Skövde Golf Club in Skövde.

Winners in the customer 18-hole competition were: First place—Jakob Strångert of Spiromec AB in Linköping, Sweden, a major customer for CEJN breathing air products. With a score of 43 points, Jakob was awarded a weekend for two at Choice Hotels Scandinavia and a dozen golf balls.
Second place—Bo Andersson of Edströms Maskinaffär in Jönköping, Sweden, a CEJN products distributor. Bo, who also finished second place in last’s year’s tourney, received a kickboard and golf balls for his 40-point score.
Third place—Anders Lager of Momentum IMS in Skövde, a local CEJN products distributor. Anders’ 36-point score earned him a dozen golf balls.

The winner in the 18-hole CEJN staff tournament was Mikael Wedin with 36 points.

The tournament also included a 9-hole competition for rookie golfers. Fifteen first-time players received tips from the club’s pro before trying their swings live on the links.

The winner of the rookie rivalry was Tommy Eriksson of F7 Air Force Flotilla in Såtenäs with 26 points. He was awarded a gift certificate from Choice Hotels Scandinavia and golf balls.

Tommy was closely followed by Gunnar Karlson of Rosenlunds and Lundins Mekaniska and Anders Alexandersen from Tess Möre in Ålesund, Norway.

Keeping the golfers’ energy and enthusiasm alive during the competitions were CEJN Swedish sales team members, who served hot dogs, cold drinks, and chocolate bars.
